The evidence is that the medium thickness plastic that HICUSA puts on the market is 16,1 microns compared to 21,8 microns of thickness on the market (1).  An actual reduction of 26% residue thanks to the Good Practices carried out with customers in the section of prevention.

If HICUSA policies on prevention of residues could extend to all the consumer companies in the Spanish market, we could eliminate dumping of more than 30,000 Tons of Polyethylene a year. Extending this analysis to Europe this figure would be 10 times greater.
